About the Event

Winter can make us feel lethargic, cold, tight muscles, and a sense of feeling low.

We can actively create our own self- care in the winter which will keep our inner self alive and connected to our awareness.

In this seasonal workshop you will learn some gentle easy meditations, to settle into the winter season and take of yourself at home during the winter.

These will include:

A breathing/kidney meditation

To warm our bodies up and improve function

A Hot Tea meditation

With a variety of warm soothing herbal teas to choose from. Buddhists developed this ceremony to carefully prepare and savour hot tea.  A tea meditation brings mindfulness to each movement and stage, mindfully drinking hot tea is both a warming and centering practice.

Wintertime Intentions

We will also set some winter intentions to take us through to spring.

Ending with a full body scan meditation, to fully relax, let go and heal.

This will be a gentle relaxing morning, so bring your yoga mat, blanket and cushion or pillow warm comfortable clothes and your favourite mug.

On arrival we will warm our bodies with some nice spiced non-alcoholic mulled wine.

All safety guidance will be adhered to, face covering worn on arrival (unless exempt), which wll be removed once seated.

Only 10 spaces available to comply with safety recommendations,  booking in advance is essentail
