About the Event
Understanding Grief.
Grief is a response to loss and can manifest in various forms, such as illness, depression, addiction, or anxiety. Loss can include:
- Death of a loved one (spouse, partner, family member)
- Loss of an unborn child
- Terminal diagnosis of a loved one
- Alzheimer’s/dementia in a loved one
- Loss of a friend or pet
Retreat Activities:
- Understanding Grief:
Learn about the nature and impact of grief.
- Living with Grief:
Explore how to coexist with grief in daily life.
- Holding the Space for Grief:
Create a supportive environment for expressing grief.
- Meditation and Sound Healing:
Engage in practices that promote healing and well-being.
- Emotional Support:
The retreat acknowledges that discussions and content might be triggering, and experiencing resistance or becoming upset is natural. Support will be provided throughout the sessions, and all emotions are welcome.
Cost:
£65, which includes a light lunch and refreshments. A £25 deposit is required on registration to attend, balance is paid on arrival.
**Cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is less than 48 hours.
